After writing an accounting exam I found myself binge watching the Netflix’s hit series “Emily In Paris.” I began to think to myself, “If life after my Master’s in Marketing turns out to be half as magical as Emily’s, the stress of the accounting exams were worth it.” I mean, who wouldn’t want to move to Paris on a whim, work for a top marketing agency, create a travel Instagram that grows organically by thousands on the daily, and eat pain au chocolat for breakfast fresh out of grad school?
… and then reality hits. Life as a 23 year old girl trying to balance it all isn’t nearly as glamourous. Maybe one day I will be Taylor in Paris, but for now, I am Taylor in Toronto.
Trying to establish yourself as a young female and “live your best life” outside of the classroom or office can be task. Whether you’re working the 9-5, living the student life or still trying to figure it all out, this is the place for you.
